Chris Hund is a poet from the Midwest. He has an MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop and a BA from Loyola University Chicago. Currently he is putting the finishing touches on his first book length manuscript of poems. The poems are primarily influenced by Surrealism and the New York School. However, the influences of older poetics are often also present. The poems evoke a sense of travel, a sense of journey, even if they stay focused in on one moment or object. They are funny, but in a way that makes the humor deadly serious and funny at the same time. Have a good day.
